| Description | CompressIt is an AppleScript Droplet which is designed to allow quick access to the world of compression schemas under the hood of OS X. Use this script as a free alternative to Drop Stuff by Stuffit. Currently, CompressIt allows you many different file compression schemas; zip, tar, tar->gzip, tar->LZW, bz2, and compressed DMG. This script can be used with any version of OS X from 10.4 onward and can be used with the new Intel Macintoshes.
